War Cabinet to Meet Sunday to Weigh Sending Delegation to Cairo Talks

According to reports, the War Cabinet is scheduled to convene on Sunday morning to deliberate on the potential dispatch of a delegation to upcoming negotiations in Cairo. The discussions will focus on the prospect of brokering a temporary truce and facilitating the release of hostages.

Yediot reported that the Cairo negotiations will involve the participation of prominent figures including CIA chief William Burns, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and Abbas Kamel, the head of Egypt’s General Intelligence Directorate.
