Boro Park − Two men have been arrested, and police are seeking a third, for allegedly impersonating a customer of a Boro Park TD Bank and snatching money from a teller who started realizing something was wrong. A gun belonging to one of the suspects was discovered, too.

The incident occurred Monday afternoon at the TD branch located on 13thAvenue at 46th Street at around 1 p.m., when two of the suspects were initially successful in stealing the identity of the 69 years old victim and tried to withdraw $3000 cash. But when a teller became suspicious and began asking them
questions, the suspects swiped $2000 cash that was within their reach and fled.

The teller chased after the group, telling them to stop, but they continued. The pair ran into a getaway car that was waiting for them, with a third suspect driving the vehicle.

Witnesses who were chasing the alleged thieves informed the driver of an MTA bus that had stopped on the street and was blocking their exit of the situation, and the bus kept its position so as to prevent the suspects from escaping. Two of the men promptly exited the vehicle and took off on foot. The
bus driver, believing that all the suspects were gone, began driving away, but stopped when the alleged getaway driver started driving as well. The third suspect then fled the scene.

Several bystanders who witnessed the thieves running out of the bank called Shomrim. A large contingent of Shomrim members in the vicinity responded and gave chase to the thieves.

One suspect was caught on 15th Avenue and 45th Street, and the other on 14th Avenue and 44th Street. A loaded gun was recovered by police during the investigation.

Sirjoshua Graham, a 22-years-old male of 26 Bragaw Avenue in Newark New Jersey was charged with Grand Larceny. Thomas McLucas, a71-year-old homeless male, was charged with Grand Larceny, Possession of a Forged Instrument and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
