Senator Schumer Expresses Faith in Biden Administration When Asked About Pause in Arms Shipment

In a press briefing on Thursday, May 9, Senator Charles Schumer, the highest ranking Jewish political figure who has always declared himself to be the guardian of Israel, was asked, “Is it appropriate for the Biden Administration to hold up the delivery of these 3500 bombs to Israel while it assesses its potential invasion of Rafah? Republicans say it was allocated [and] appropriated in the bill that was just passed.

Schumer, who recently criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said Israel should hold new elections, answered, “Look, I believe that Israel and America have an ironclad relationship, and I have faith in what the Biden Administration is doing.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has criticized the decision by the Biden Administration to withhold the weapons while Israel is fighting a war against the Hamas terrorist organization.
