There will be no Lag BaOmer celebration at the kever of Rabi Shimon bar Yochai in Meron this year, the IDF announced Thursday.
The decision had been expected, due to security concerns over large gatherings at a time that Israel’s north is facing rocket barrages from Hezbollah.
