Israeli Forces Operating in Jabaliya Kill Over 200 Terrorists Amid Intense Fighting

By Hamodia Staff

Israeli forces operating in Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip have killed more than 200 terrorists amid some of the most intense fighting of the war.

The Times of Israel reports that the IDF has described the fighting as “intense” and the “most violent” of the war, with many terrorist fighting above ground and by using tunnels.

The IDF had previously Jabaliya said it dismantled Hamas’s battalions in Jabaliya. But the latest operation, begun only in the past week, has focused on areas deep in the Jabaliya refugee camp, which the IDF did not reach during the initial ground offensive in northern Gaza.

The camp also has many narrow alleys, which makes it difficult to use tanks.

The IDF says soldiers located a weapons warehouse with dozens of long-range rockets, rocket parts, explosives, and other weapons, about ten meters from a shelter complex from which the population was evacuated and where 20 terrorists were apprehended. Forces also located a rocket launcher in the area and destroyed it.
