BD’E − Harav Yechiel Yitzchak Perr, Zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Derech Ayson of Far Rockaway
Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Harav Yitzchak Yechiel Perr, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Derech Ayson in Far Rockaway, after an extended illness. He was 89 years old.
Rav Perr was one of the last remaining talmidim of Hagaon Harav Aharon Kotler, zt”l, and was the son in law of Harav Yehuda Leib Nekritz, who in turn was married to the daughter of Harav Avraham Yaffen, zt”l, the Rosh Yeshiva of Beis Yosef Novardok, and the son in law of Harav Yosef Yozel Horwitz, zt”l, known as Der Alter fuhn Novardok.
The levayah will take place at the yeshiva. located at 802 Hicksville Road in Far Rockaway at 11:00 AM.
