2 Jewish Boys Assaulted in Williamsburg

BROOKLYN — The NYPD has released surveillance images of a man suspected of assaulting two Jewish boys in Williamsburg this week.
At 9:00 p.m. Sunday, a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old Jewish boy were playing on a the sidewalk in front of 173 Franklin Avenue. A young man on a bicycle rode past the boys and told them to get off the sidewalk. He then returned, got off the bicycle and pushed the 13-year-old to the ground and kicked and punched the 11-year-old in the back. The NYPD’S Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident.
The suspect is a dark-skinned male approximately 18 to 20 years of age.
