18-Year-Old Seriously Wounded in Stabbing Attack in Ramle

An 18-year-old girl was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack Friday in the city of Ramle.
The Arab terrorist was killed by an armed civilian. A helicopter is searching the area, looking for other possible perpetrators.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, a proponent of civilians carrying weapons, spoke at the scene of the attack.
“I have spoken with the heroic citizen who eliminated the terrorist,” Ben Gvir said. “He prevented a greater tragedy that would have meant people wounded and killed. Arming civilians saves lives.”
After he left the scene of the incident, Ben Gvir’s vehicle was involved in an accident and overturned. He was hospitalized in Shamir Medical center in light to moderate condition.
