An urgent meeting of the War Cabinet is set to take place on Wednesday evening, focusing on the ongoing negotiations for the release of hostages currently held by Hamas.
The meeting comes after the Israeli delegation, having engaged in talks in Qatar, returned following Hamas’s rejection of the proposal presented by Qatari and Egyptian mediators.
