IDF Conducts Deepest Strikes Yet in Northeastern Lebanon

The IDF launched airstrikes targeting sites in the Wadi Faara area of northeastern Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon, marking the IDF’s most extensive strikes since the onset of the war, as reported by Lebanese state media.

The strikes occurred shortly after rockets were fired toward the IDF Aerial Control Unit in the Meron area of northern Israel, the IDF confirmed on Tuesday.

No casualties were reported from the airstrikes, and the IDF emphasized that operational activities remained unaffected.

Additionally, the IDF detected three rocket launches aimed at Avivim, resulting in no casualties at the scene. The IDF stated it had retaliated by targeting the sources of the rocket launches.

Earlier Tuesday, Israeli media outlets reported significant damage to a winery in Avivim, following an anti-tank missile attack. B’chasdei Shamayim, no casualties were reported in this incident.

Israel’s National Fire and Rescue Authority deployed two teams to respond to the situation at the winery.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese news outlet Al-Mayadeen, citing the terror group, reported that Hezbollah had purportedly targeted two buildings in Avivim in retaliation for Israel’s military actions in southern Lebanon. According to Al-Mayadeen, Hezbollah claimed that Israeli soldiers were utilizing the targeted buildings.
