MK Rabbi Litzman Doing Well Following Pacemaker Procedure

United Torah Judaism MK Rabbi Yaakov Litzman collapsed on Friday, Shevii Shel Pesach, and was rushed to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim, where he had a pacemaker installed. The hospital said the procedure was successful, baruch Hashem. Rabbi Litzman was released from hospital on Sunday morning, and was doing well.

Rabbi Litzman has been serving in the Knesset for 23 years and served as the de facto health minister for close to a decade. Earlier this year, he announced plans to retire from politics.
