Israel Arrests Final Two Escaped Terrorists
Two weeks after six Palestinian terrorists escaped from Gilboa Prison, Israel has arrested the final two on Motzoei Shabbos in Jenin.
The two escapees arrested Motzoei Shabbos were taken into custody without resistance.
Forces from the Police Special Unit on Terror, and the Shin Bet and the IDF located the two terrorists, Iham Kamamji and Munadil Nafiyat, in a house in Jenin.
Israel had known for days that these two escaped prisoners were in Jenin and obtained information from intelligence sources in which building they were hiding, but prepared for several days before embarking on this complex arrest operation.
Following the escape, Israel ordered a review of all prison structures.
The dramatic escape occurred on September 6. Two prisoners were caught on September 10, and two more the following day.
