Fires in Eshkol Region, Incendiary Balloon Possibility Investigated
Several fires broke out in the Eshkol Regional Council on Monday afternoon. It is being investigated whether they were caused by incendiary balloons launched from Gaza.
Incendiary balloons were also reportedly launched from Gaza on Sunday night, Palestinian media sources reported.
The reported balloon launches come following recent escalation between Israel and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, which saw a Border policeman seriously wounded when he was shot by a Palestinian at the border.
Meanwhile, Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip announced that another mass protest will be held near the border fence on Wednesday in Khan Younis and Rafah.
