Shin Bet Arrests 3 Islamic State Recruits

YERUSHALAYIM

Two 17-year-old Israeli Arabs and a Palestinian from Barta’a, near Um el Fahm, have been arrested by the Shin Bet for giving support and allegiance to Islamic State.

The three allegedly participated in religious training, during which they were exposed to terrorist materials related to IS. They also watched online videos about ISI and discussed what life would be like under the terror organization’s rule. The suspects swore allegiance to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, according to the Shin Bet.

During the investigation, materials for a makeshift explosive device were also found in their possession.
