Hezbollah’s aggression has intensified, with a drone strike near Metula launched from Lebanon on Monday. 2 Israelis were wounded in the attack.

The IDF retaliated by targeting approximately 15 buildings and infrastructure linked to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force in al-Lwaiza, southern Lebanon.

This attack follows Hezbollah’s claim of targeting Israel with numerous Katyusha rockets on Monday, notably in the Golan Heights. The group stated its aim was the “Golan division headquarters.” These assaults mark a series of escalations, including strikes on Kiryat Shemona with 20 rockets and further attacks in northern Israel with around 40 projectiles on Sunday.

Attributing its actions to Israeli provocations, Hezbollah specifically cited an attack on the Bekaa region. This uptick in aggression aligns with Iranian interests, particularly amid Israeli efforts to evacuate parts of eastern Rafah in Gaza, a situation Iran is likely monitoring closely, potentially leading to increased attacks from its proxies and allied terror groups.
