Hezbollah Downs IDF Drone Over Southern Lebanon

The IDF reported that one of its drones was intercepted by a Hezbollah surface-to-air missile in southern Lebanon on Motzoei Shabbos. This announcement follows Hezbollah’s claim of shooting down an Elbit Hermes 450 UAV within Lebanese airspace. The IDF stated that the incident is under investigation.
This event echoes a similar occurrence in February when Hezbollah successfully downed another Hermes 450 drone, leading to IDF airstrikes deep inside Lebanon for the first time in years.
