Two Women Hospitalized After Armed Assault and Robbery in Staten Island

By Matis Glenn

Three robbers allegedly forced their way into the home of a Jewish family in Staten Island and assaulted a mother and daughter early Monday morning, Shmira tells Hamodia.

The suspects, who police describe as three black men dressed in all-black clothing and ski masks, broke down the door of the victims’ home on Livingston Avenue in the Manor Heights neighborhood at around 12:45 a.m. They drew guns and brutally assaulted the two women, who needed to be taken to the hospital, where they received stitches as a result of their injuries.

Shmira was called, and they began an investigation, combing through surveillance footage of the area among other methods.

The search for the suspects is ongoing. A $10,000 reward is offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible for the crime.

The thieves stole an indeterminate amount of money and valuables, and made off with one of the victims’ cell phones.
