By Hamodia Staff
A three-alarm fire broke out in a home in South Fallsburg early Sunday morning, which required the combined efforts of firefighters from across Sullivan County to extinguish.
The blaze began at 3:20AM, at 5218 Main Street, and spread to a next-door building, destroying both.
Catskills Hatzolah arrived on the scene, and there are reports of at least two injuries at this time; a resident in the home who was taken to the hospital, and a firefighter who suffered minor injuries.
Sullican County sent messages on social media saying that Route 42 would be closed for most of the morning, and advised people to avoid the area to allow firefighters to clean up the area.
