Israeli Forces Fire at Gaza Terrorists Planting Bombs

IDF forces Motzoei Shabbos shot at three Gaza Arab terrorists who approached the border fence and attempted to plant explosives. The three were observed by IDF sharpshooters, who opened fire on them. Reports in Gaza said that two of the terrorists were injured.

Also Motzoei Shabbos , two Arabs were arrested at the Kalandiya crossing north of Yerushalayim. The two, ages 17 and 19, aroused the suspicions of security officials, who conducted a thorough search of their backpacks. The search yielded two large knives. The two were arrested and taken in for interrogation by police.

Overnight Motzoei Shabbos, security officials said they arrested five wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
