Israeli Navy boats over the weekend intercepted a boat that was attempting to enter the waters off Gaza. The boat had left from a dock in Sinai. The Israeli ships surrounded the boat, and before they could board it, the crew began throwing dozens of bags into the sea, and then jumped off the boat themselves. The ship continued on its own and was sunk by the Israeli ships.

According to sources in Gaza, four Gaza Arabs were killed as a result of the interdiction. Israeli sources did not confirm that number.

On Motzoei Shabbos, Arabs threw a firebomb at Beit Yehonatan, a Jewish-owned building in the Shiloach (Silwan) neighborhood in Yerushalayim. There were no injuries reported in the attack.
