IDF Locates Remains of Rocket Fired From Egypt
The IDF identified the remains of a rocket in an open area north of Eilat Tuesday night, that was most likely fired from Sinai last Thursday.
The rocket remnants were found 10 miles north of Eilat, following a civilian’s report.
Eilat residents reported hearing several loud blasts the southern section of the city last Thursday. No air raid siren was heard, nor were flashes seen in the area.
The Jamaat Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis terror group, which operates in the Sinai Peninsula, took responsibility for the alleged launch of two Grad missiles toward Eilat on Thursday.
