IDF Tears Down Palestinian Outpost Near Yitzhar
Three Border Police officers and an Israeli civilian were lightly injured by rock-throwing Palestinian protesters over the weekend as Israeli security forces took down an illegal outpost at a site in the Shomron near Yitzhar, the third such incident in the past few weeks.
About 200 people, perhaps a third of them Israeli leftists, were involved in setting up about 10 tents to protest Israeli expansion in the region, Arutz Sheva reported.
The Arabs, mostly from the nearby village of Burin, attacked the IDF force with rocks, and the soldiers responded with riot dispersal equipment.
Seven Arabs were arrested, as well as a Jew who was found carrying two saws in a bag.
