Rockets Fired From Gaza at Beersheva

Terrorists in Gaza fired rockets into the Beersheva area Friday afternoon, but Baruch Hashem no serious injuries were reported.

Sirens sounded around 5:30 p.m., warning people in the Beersheva area to run to bomb shelters.

One rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome, and the others fell in open areas. One woman, 37, was mildly injured after being hit by shrapnel.

Police are looking for the rocket fragments, and warning people not to go near the fragments, which may contain explosives.

Beersheva lies 25 miles from the Gaza border.
