An Israeli airstrike near the city of Homs in central Syria has resulted in one fatality and five injuries, according to Syrian sources.

The strike early Monday reportedly targeted two locations in the Homs area. Hezbollah-linked Al-Mayadeen reported that an Israeli missile struck a truck in the city of Al-Qusayr in the Homs governorate. The prevailing belief is that the strike aimed to disrupt a weapons shipment in Iran’s “weapons corridor” destined for Hezbollah, although Israel has not confirmed this.

Syrian opposition media also reported explosions around Homs, noting that at least one person, potentially linked to Iran, was assassinated and another was injured. Additionally, there were reports of four terrorists killed in Lebanon following an Israeli strike in Naqura, just north of Kibbutz Rosh Hanikra.
