As foreign airlines gradually resume flights to and from Israel following Iran’s attack on the country in April, some carriers are delaying their return to scheduled services.

U.S. carrier United Airlines initially halted flights after the Iranian attack, extending the suspension until May 9. However, according to United’s flight schedule, there are no flights to or from Israel until June 1, although the airline has not officially announced this change.

United Airlines joins U.K. low-cost carrier EasyJet, Air Canada, and Air India, which suspended Israel flights at the onset of the conflict in October. They resumed flights earlier this year but suspended them again in mid-April after the Iranian attack and have since postponed their resumption. In March, United had resumed a daily flight between New York and Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, several other airlines are increasing their number of flights to and from Israel, including flyDubai, Ethiopian Airlines, and Azerbaijan Airlines.
