Guns, Ammo Seized After Shots Fired at Karmei Tzur

IDF forces conducted a raid in the Shomron overnight Monday after a nearby community was attacked by gunfire, resulting in minor damage to a home.

According to the IDF, troops in Beit Ummar seized a weapon and ammunition believed to be linked to the shooting incident toward Karmei Tzur.

Additionally, in Beit Fajjar, two handguns were confiscated, and explosive devices were safely disposed of.

During the operation, 14 Palestinians were apprehended and transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.

In a separate incident, during a raid in the Balata camp near Shechem, an IDF soldier reportedly discharged his firearm at an individual who allegedly attempted to grab his weapon. The condition of the suspect remains unclear.

According to the official Palestinian news outlet WAFA, the individual sustained a gunshot wound to the foot, as reported by the Red Crescent. WAFA also noted the arrest of approximately 25 Palestinians during the overnight raids.

Furthermore, the IDF reported the discovery and neutralization of explosive devices in Balata.

The IDF confirmed that no soldiers were injured during the operations, baruch Hashem.
