Gaza Launch Areas Hit Within Minutes of Rockets on Nachal Oz

The IDF said Friday morning that it responded swiftly to Thursday night’s rocket attacks on Sderot and Nachal Oz. Within minutes of the incidents, they targeted the areas in the Gaza Strip from which the rockets were launched. The strikes included hitting a weapons depot associated with the attack on Nachal Oz, a tunnel shaft, a Hamas building, and rocket launchers identified after the Sderot attack.

Additionally, the IDF is actively engaged in an offensive in the Khan Younis suburb of al-Qarara, led by the Bislamach Brigade, resulting in the elimination of around 15 terrorists and the discovery of tunnel shafts.

In the Hamad Town residential complex, the 7th Armored Brigade located and destroyed several rocket launchers, initiated an airstrike against two gunmen leaving a weapons depot, the Givati Brigade found weapons and neutralized several Hamas terrorists, and the Commando Brigade conducted raids in high-rise towers, engaging in close-quarters combat and capturing surrendered individuals.

Furthermore, in central Gaza, the Nachal Brigade, over the past day, reported the elimination of approximately 15 Hamas terrorists through sniper fire and airstrikes.
