Sixteen people still recovering from Monday’s deadly stabbing and car-ramming incident in Raanana were hospitalized as of Tuesday, with four listed in serious condition, as confirmed by local medical centers.

79-year-old Edna Blustein, Hy”d, succumbed to her wounds at Hillel Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba on Monday.

Among the victims, seven children were transported to Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petach Tikva, including a 16-year-old boy in serious condition.

At Beilinson Hospital in Tel Aviv, a man in his 30s is in serious but stable condition after overnight surgery, while a man in his 60s remains critically stable; both are intubated. A woman with minor injuries is expected to be discharged on Tuesday.

Meir Medical Center reports a man and a woman in serious condition, another man in moderate condition, and a woman treated for light injuries.

Ichilov Hospital notes two male patients undergoing orthopedic surgery for broken bones.

Police arrested two Palestinian terrorists, Mahmoud Zidat, 44, and his nephew Ahmed, both residents of Bani Naim near Chevron. Despite being security risks with no work permits, they were employed at a Raanana car wash, and their employers have been detained.

The attack began with the suspects forcibly taking a woman from her jeep, stabbing her, and stealing the vehicle. They proceeded to run over pedestrians, abandoning the jeep when it got stuck. One suspect stole a second car, continuing to ram into pedestrians until stopped by police. The other commandeered Blustein’s car, stabbed her, and continued driving over people. After crashing, he fled on foot but was apprehended shortly after.

Their involvement with any Palestinian terror group remains unclear at this time.
