K’hal Avodas Yisroel D’Kosznitz in Sea Gate Heavily Damaged in Fire

BROOKLYN — Khal Avodas Yisroel D’Kosznitz in Sea Gate, known as “Rabbi Rubin’s shul,” was heavily damaged in a fire Friday morning.
Baruch Hashem, there were no injuries, and the sifrei Torah were not damaged.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
The shul was rebuilt a decade ago after it sustained major damage from Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
