The Ministry of Information of Eritrea has released an official statement alleging that central intelligence agencies in the Western world, including the Mossad, are responsible for promoting and financing violent protests against Eritrean citizens worldwide.

According to the statement, these acts of violence are aimed at disrupting long-standing cultural events cherished by Eritreans, events vital for preserving their heritage and cultural identity. The statement goes on to assert that those encouraging the violence harbor hidden political motives to further their own agendas.

Furthermore, the statement suggests that these intelligence agencies are actively working to divide the Eritrean people. It promises that more information regarding this matter will be disclosed in the near future.

Recent severe riots erupted last Shabbos in South Tel Aviv, where clashes occurred between supporters and opponents of the Eritrean regime. The violence primarily targeted the local police forces and businesses in the vicinity.

A total of 176 individuals, including 49 police officers, sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. During the riots, the agitators pelted police officers with stones and planks, causing extensive damage, including shattered glass in the area.

As of now, 39 protesters have been apprehended, including an Eritrean citizen who was captured on video making threats while holding a firearm.
