Public Asked to Daven for Harav Shimon Badani, Shlita

YERUSHALAYIM — The condition of the senior member of the Shas Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah (Council of Torah Sages), Rav Shimon Badani, who has been diagnosed with a lung infection, grew more serious on Sunday.
Two months ago, the Rav was found to have contracted the coronavirus and was hospitalized in serious condition.
A special tefillah for him was held at the Kosel, presided over by Sephardi Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef and Council member Rav Dovid Yosef. At that time, the name Rafael was added to his name.
His family and talmidim ask the public to daven for the refuah shleimah of Harav (Raphael) Shimon ben Chaviva, b’soch she’ar cholei Yisrael.
