IDF soldiers, Shin Bet operatives and Border Police operated throughout Yehudah and Shomron on Motzoei Shabbos, mapping the house of Muhammad al-Jabari, who carried out the Kiryat Arba terror attack, in which a Jewish man was murdered, and preparing it for demolition.

The security forces also arrested three individuals wanted on suspicion of involvement in terror activities, including Jabari’s brother.

Meanwhile, IDF forces operating in the Jalazone refugee camp arrested two individuals on suspicion of involvement in terror activities and confiscated several illegally acquired weapons.

During the operation, protestors threw stones in the direction of the IDF soldiers, who responded with measures to disperse the rioters. No casualties were sustained by the Israeli forces, baruch Hashem, and the arrested individuals have been transferred for further investigation.

Several people were also wounded in the shooting late Saturday.

Dramatic security camera video showed the assailant firing his assault rifle outside a grocery before a security guard rammed him with his truck and pinned him to the ground. An off-duty military officer then opened fire and killed the assailant, later identified as Mohammed Jaaberi, 35.

Israel routinely demolishes the homes of Palestinian terrorists, arguing that it serves as a deterrent.

No Palestinian terror group has claimed Jaabari as one of its members, though celebrations erupted in Hebron after news of the attack spread.
