Israel’s Virus Death Toll Up to 212; More Patients Have Recovered Than Still Sick

The death toll in Israel from the coronavirus has risen to 212, the Health Ministry said Wednesday morning.

The overall number of confirmed cases in Israel stands at 15,782, an increase of 193 new cases in the past 24 hours.

There are 120 patients listed in serious condition, with 91 of them on ventilators.

The Health Ministry added that 7,929 people have recovered from the virus, baruch Hashem. There are now more people who have recovered from the virus than the 7,641 patients who are currently sick.

In a breakdown by city, Yerushalayim has 3,357 cases, Bnei Brak 2,794, Beit Shemesh 450, Modi’in Illit 393 and Beitar Illit with 273.
