LAPD Arrest Man Suspected of Pulling Wigs Off Frum Women
Los Angeles Police on Wednesday night arrested a man suspected of a string of attacks against frum women in the North Hollywood area, CBS Los Angeles reported.
Police said that the man, said to be 25 to 30 years old, was seen pulling wigs off the heads of the women. It was being investigated as a hate crime.
LAPD said the man had been seen doing this since September.
Rabbi Nachman Abend, Chabad Rabbi of North Hollywood, said that the entire community is on edge and says that this type of hate crime must stop.
As of now, police don’t have a motive for the attacks.
