An IDF soldier was wounded overnight Wednesday fighting rioters in Shechem. The rioters threw rocks, concrete blocks and firebombs at soldiers, who responded with anti-riot measures. The soldier was lightly injured by a rock, and was treated on the scene before being transported to an Israeli hospital.

IDF soldiers overnight Wednesday seized terror funds from Arabs in the village of Hussan near Chevron. The money was part of payments made by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to the families of terrorists for committing terror acts against Israelis, officials said. Weapons for use in terror attacks were also found in the city. Also seized in Chevron was a vehicle specially outfitted for use in terror attacks, the IDF said.

Overnight Wednesday, security officials said they arrested 11 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
