Syracuse Lawmaker Wants Fines for Snowy Sidewalks

A lawmaker in one of the snowiest cities in the U.S. wants homeowners fined $100 if they don’t shovel their sidewalks within a day, The Associated Press reported. Syracuse Councilman Bob Dougherty says it drives him “nuts” seeing children forced to walk on the street.
