Flooded Homeowners Regret Dropping Insurance
Some western New York residents whose homes were flood-damaged this month now regret lapsing only months before their federal flood insurance policies because of rate increases, the Buffalo News reported. About 70 houses flooded when a Jan. 11 thaw pushed the Buffalo Creek over its banks.
