Herzog Meets With U.S. Democratic Lawmakers Led by AIPAC Delegation; Praises Biden

President Yitzchak Herzog met with a delegation of U.S. lawmakers from the Democratic Party, spearheaded by AIPAC, on Thursday. In his address, he expressed gratitude to the delegation for their visit to Israel during these challenging times, emphasizing its significance to the Israeli people.

Herzog highlighted the enduring bond between the United States and Israel, asserting that this alliance remains unshakable and indispensable. He lauded President Joe Biden as a staunch supporter of Israel, emphasizing their shared goal of combating terrorism and countering threats posed by entities like Tehran.

“We share the objective of eradicating terror, of fighting the empire of evil which emanates from Tehran and wants to undermine world law and order, and is adverse directly to the national interest of the United States of America. And of course, as a clear enemy of ours too,” Herzog said.
