Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Rebbetzin Rochel Leah Krupenia, a”h, wife of Harav Levi Krupenia, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Kaminetz in Woodridge and Boro Park.
Rebbetzin Krupenia was the daughter of Hagaon Harav Reuven Grozovsky, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Kaminetz (Poland), Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and Beis Medrash Elyon and mechaber of sefer Chiddushei Rav Reuven on Shas.
The Rebbetzin was the last surviving grandchild of Hagaon Harav Baruch Ber Leibowitz, zt”l, Rosh Yeshivas Knesses Beis Yitzchak of Kaminetz and mechaber of Sefer Birchas Shmuel.
The levayah is scheduled to take place Friday morning at Yeshiva Ohel Torah, 91 College Road, Monsey, NY.
