The IDF on Monday continued its operations in Khan Yunis. The Kfir Brigade, the youngest and largest infantry brigade in the IDF, collaborated with air and engineering forces for the first time since the initiation of the ground operation.

The IDF revealed that during confrontations, forces from the Kfir Brigade killed dozens of terrorists. Additionally, the IDF reported conducting raids on numerous terrorist infrastructure sites and seizing control of the Hamas headquarters in the area.

The operation yielded a significant discovery of weapons, including explosives, grenades, cartridges, and rockets. Troops also located and demolished a residence believed to be a manufacturing site for terrorist weaponry.

In a separate mission on Sunday, IDF forces operated in an 830-meter tunnel in Khan Yunis. The tunnel, reaching a depth of 20 meters beneath the civilian area of the southern Gaza city, was used by Hamas for concealing hostages.
