Outgoing Health Minister Moshe Arbel issued a directive ordering all public hospitals to cease providing medical care to Hamas terrorists, as conveyed in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday evening.

“Since the commencement of hostilities, the issue of treating the reprehensible and despicable Hamas terrorists within public hospitals has placed an enormous burden on the healthcare system,” wrote the outgoing health minister.

“In these trying times, the healthcare system should be wholly focused on caring for the victims of the criminal massacre, IDF soldiers, and preparedness for future incidents,” Arbel wrote.

“The responsibility of securing and treating these accursed and vile terrorists within the public healthcare system substantially hinders these efforts. Therefore, under my direction, the public healthcare system will not provide them with treatment,” he further emphasized.

Arbel called upon Netanyahu to promptly instruct the relevant authorities to adhere to the new directive.

“The director-general of the Ministry of Health has held discussions with the director-general of the Ministry of Defense to prepare for the treatment of terrorists within Shin Bet facilities rather than hospitals,” said Arbel, as reported by Channel 12 News.

Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital announced on Wednesday night that an injured terrorist had been redirected away from the emergency room and sent to an Israeli Prison Service clinic in Ramle instead.

“Our intensive care unit does not admit a single terrorist,” confirmed the hospital.

Meanwhile, several Israelis staged a protest outside Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan after incorrect reports suggested that three Hamas terrorists were receiving treatment there. Police forcibly removed the demonstrators and made three arrests. A Sheba spokesperson confirmed that no terrorists were under care at the facility.

Numerous other Israeli medical centers also declared that they had not received any terrorists for treatment.
