Tefilos Urged as Condition of Rachmastrivka Rebbe shlit’a Has Worsened

The Rachmastrivka Rebbe shlit’a is in need of tefilos after falling ill with pneumonia Tuesday.

The Rebbe is at home and was stabilized after a brief period Tuesday night when doctors said he was in critical condition.

Upon hearing that the Rebbe’s condition had turned critical, a gathering for tehilim was held in the Rachmastrivka shul.

The tzibur is asked to daven for (Harav) Chai Yitzchok ben Esther Rivkah l’refuah shlaima b’soch shear cholei Yisrael.

WEDNESDAY MORNING UPDATE:

The Rebbe’s situation remains very critical as doctors struggled throughout the night to maintain his blood pressure.

At about 8:30 a.m., baruch Hashem, the Rebbe’s condition showed some small signs of improvement, but he is still in need of much rachamei Shamayim.

Starting at 9:00 a.m., minyanim for reciting the entire sefer Tehillim began in the main Rachmastrivka beis medrash in Boro Park, every 90 minutes: 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., to ensure that there is a minyan reciting Tehillim together during the entire time.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE:

The Rebbe’s condition has r”l deteriorated significantly since around 12:15 p.m.

Hundreds of people have gathered outside the Rebbe’s home to beseech Hashem for the Rebbe’s recovery.

Minyanei Tehillim are continuing the entire day in the main beis medrash. A special call has now been issued to the women of the kehillah and Klal Yisrael that they too should recite tehillim to implore Hashem for the Rebbe’s recovery.
