Security Operation Leads to Arrest of 32 Terrorists in Yehudah, Shomron and Jordan Valley

In a joint operation, forces from the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Border Police carried out a series of arrests, capturing 32 wanted terrorists across the regions of Yehudah, Shomron and the Jordan Valley overnight Tuesday.

Among the apprehended individuals, six terrorists affiliated with the Islamic Jihad organization were captured during a divisional operation in Kfar Tamon. The coordinated efforts of the security forces aimed to target and apprehend individuals who posed a threat to the safety and stability of the region.

During the operation in the village of ad-Dhahiriya, near Chevron, the security forces made significant discoveries. Two M-16 weapons, weapons parts, terrorist funds, and drugs were located and subsequently confiscated, preventing them from being used to further unlawful activities.

In another related activity, in Kfar Dora, suspects targeted the security forces by throwing stones, causing damage to a military vehicle. Despite the provocation, the security forces maintained their focus on the mission at hand, ensuring the safety of the public and their fellow fighters.

The operation also led to the arrest of two wanted individuals in Kfar Hizma. However, during this particular activity, suspects also resorted to violence by throwing stones at the forces. In response, the security personnel employed non-lethal measures to disperse the demonstrations, prioritizing the use of appropriate force.

Additionally, the forces conducted an operation in the Al-Ayda refugee camp, where suspects threw stones at them. In this situation as well, the security forces responded with non-lethal means for dispersing demonstrations and, when necessary, resorted to shooting into the air to maintain control and prevent further escalation.

Baruch Hashem, no casualties were reported among the Israeli forces during these operations.
