The government on Sunday voted to seal the home of the 13-year-old Palestinian perpetrator of Shabbos morning’s terrorist shooting in Yerushalayim. Two Israelis were seriously wounded in that attack.

The terrorist’s family resides in the eastern Yerushalayim neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said that the government also agreed to change the policy moving forward to allow for a home to be sealed even if the terrorist didn’t kill anyone and will hold a deliberation on the matter.

Shin Bet director Ronen Bar has been asked to draw up a legal opinion on the matter.

The Prime Minister’s Office noted that the vote only changed the standing policy in this specific case.
