NEW YORK — NYPD has identified Perin Jacobchuk, age 32, as a suspect in the assault of a Jewish person in Central Park on Wednesday, December 14.

At around 5:30 p.m. on that day, a sixty-three-year-old Jewish male was walking in Central Park when he was struck by an assailant who made antisemitic comments before fleeing the scene.

The victim was walking in the vicinity of Terrace Drive and East Drive when the suspect ambushed him and struck him from behind, knocking him to the ground. The victim broke a tooth and his hand when he fell as a result of the attack.
