Harav Baadani Regains Consciousness, Still in Need of Tefillos

Hagaon Harav Shimon Rafael Baadani, shlita, woke up Sunday night, some two weeks after which he was under sedation and on a respirator.

At an atzeres tefillah at the Kosel, led by Rishon LeTzion Harav Yitzchak Yosef, shlita, it was decided to add to Rav Baadani the name Rafael.

The Rav’s family announced that this is a very positive development, after two weeks of concern and prayers, but emphasized that “his situation is still very difficult and the Rav needs a lot of Heavenly mercy.”

The public is asked to continue to daven for Harav Shimon Rafael ben Chaviva for a refuah sheleimah, b’soch she’ar cholei Yisrael.
