IDF Says Soldier Hit by Palestinian Car Was Not Terror Attack

YERUSHALAYIM – Initial reports of what appeared to be a terrorist attack was subsequently described by the IDF as an accident on Thursday evening.
An Israeli soldier was injured lightly in the Palestinian town of Huwara when a car being driven by a Palestinian hit the soldier.
The Rescuers Without Borders emergency service said the soldier was treated for a leg injury at the scene.
IDF troops shot at the fleeing vehicle, causing the driver to lose control, and he was injured. The IDF said that he emerged from the car conscious and was given medical aid at the scene and then taken to a hospital.
