Five Hachnasas Sefer Torah Celebrations in Boro Park on Sunday
Ahead of simchas Torah, many shuls in Boro Park are welcoming new sifrei Torah. The following areas will be closed off to traffic; plan accordingly.
At 4pm, starting on 14th avenue and 44th Street, going towards 13th Avenue and 36th Street.
At 5:30pm, a procession will begin at 16th Avenue and 55th Street. Two others will be at the same time – 12th Avenue and 45th Street, and 11th Avenue and 54th Street.
At 6pm, there will be another hachnasas sefer Torah on 13th Avenue and 59th Street, towards 14th Avenue and 57th Street.
