BD’E — Harav Shlomo Goldman, Rebbe of Zhevil, Zy”a

YERUSHALAYIM – The world of Torah and chassidus was plunged into mourning on Monday evening by the sudden petirah of the Rebbe of Zhevil, zy”a, in Yerushalayim.
Harav Shlomo Goldman, 66, was niftar after collapsing in his home on Yechezkel Street in the capital, after having suffered a heart attack.
The rebbe was the son of the Ohr Avraham of Zhevil and grandson of the Yekara D’Malka from Zhevil.
The rebbe, zy”a, served for decades as mashgiach in Yeshivas Ruzhin of Chassidei Boyan.
Following his father’s petirah 12 years ago, he was appointed to succeed him as rebbe.
The rebbe leaves after him a generation of righteous children.
Details concerning the levayah are yet to be announced.
