Ten Suspected Terrorists Arrested in Yehudah and Shomron

Overnight Tuesday, in a coordinated operation combined forces of the IDF, the Shin Bet anti-terror unit and the Border Police, ten wanted persons were apprehended on suspicion of terrorist activities. The operation was conducted throughout Yehudah and Shomron, during which weapons were confiscated and there were no casualties or injuries reported among the Israeli forces that conducted the raids.

The operation covered some of the local villages covered like Ikhtaba, Aja, Al Jib and Bidu. The security forces also operated in Shechem, in the area covered by the IDF’s Shomron regional division where two wanted persons were apprehended.

In addition, security forces also operated in Chevron and in the village of At-Tuwani in the area covered by the IDF’s Yehudah regional division, where they recovered six stolen vehicles.

At the same time, the forces operating in the villages of Bir Nabala, Bayt Duqo, Kober and Beit Sira in the area of the Binyamin regional division, north of Yerushalayim, where they arrested five wanted persons.

Also, as part of a divisional operation by the Etzion regional division, forces raided the homes of 21 suspects in order to arrest and interrogate those suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.

In the activity of security forces in the village of Ya’bad, in the area covered by the Menashe regional division, three wanted persons were arrested. In addition, during the activity of forces in Nur al-Shams, security forces were attacked with stones and Molotov cocktails. They responded by opening fire on their attackers and at least one attacker was reported to have been hit by the gunfire.
